SUPPORT SERVICES

Support Team Organization - We create a specialized calendar to share with family and friends where they can sign up to help with transportation, meals, and other daily tasks.

Appointment Transportation - We work with Uber to offer you roundtrip transportation for your appointments. You will receive a voucher to use with your Uber App. If you are not familiar with Uber, we can assist in scheduling your rides as needed.

Child Care - We work with nationally recognized, The Babysitting Company, to provide child-care services during appointments and recovery. If you are unable to transport your children to school because you're unable to drive, we'll work with school-approved vendors to provide this service.

Home Care - Treatment is exhausting, and cleaning your home is a daunting task. We have partnered with local companies to provide light monthly cleaning services.

Grocery Assistance - All members receive a grocery gift card. Volunteers are available to assist you with the shopping if you're unable to do so.

Self-Care - Physical and emotional self-care is important during your treatment. We offer wigs, oncology massages, Henna tattoos, and manicure and pedicure treatments. Life coaches are available for anxiety reduction and mindfulness techniques in Spanish and English.

Post-Mastectomy Care - We’ve partnered with local and national organizations such as BRCAStrong and The Mitzvah Chair to provide post-mastectomy items such as pillows, drain shirts, and recliners, at no cost to you.

Financial Assistance - Although we do not provide direct financial assistance, there are a number of programs that can help pay for your rent, utilities, and other living expenses. We can help you apply for these programs so that you stress less about your finances. Click here to view a list of financial assistance programs.

Support Groups and Mentoring - One of the most powerful tools when getting through a cancer diagnosis and treatment is support from others who have experienced it. Our members can mentor and provide you with support and guidance. We are stronger together – know that you are never alone during this experience.

Collaborative Resources - We have also partnered with Gilda’s Club of South Florida, Imerman Angels, Your Bosom Buddies, and other local and national programs to ensure you and your family have access to educational and support programs. Click here to view a list of these resources.
